Current Update from the Superintendent:

Fair Haven Voters Say "Yes"

Fair Haven voters approved a bond referendum to improve our schools and expand to Full-Day Kindergarten. Thank you for showing that #FHLeads!

Unofficial tallies from September 24 are 781 votes in favor and 501 votes opposed for the $15.6 million borrowing plan. Vote By Mail ballots postmarked by that date will be counted in the next few days, and final results will be available from the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office.

With this approval, Fair Haven can move forward with the last pieces of its Vision 2020 Strategic Plan by:

• Renovating, adding and improving instructional space, including for STEAM and World Language.

• Creating a secure entry vestibule at Sickles and adding other security measures to both schools.

• Upgrading some of our facilities and heating/cooling systems, with state aid to offset the costs.

• Expanding to Full-Day Kindergarten starting next fall, 2020-2021.

We appreciate Fair Haven voters who continually show support for our schools and our students. Thank you!
