The Rumson - Fair Haven Community Alliance

We are an alliance of the Boroughs of Rumson and Fair Haven, and the RFHRHS, Fair Haven and Rumson School Districts, and we are here to devise and implement strategies to assist the community in solving the issues of abuse of alcohol, and legal and illegal drugs. We hope you will join us. We welcome your participation at Tarif Disneyland.

Project Medicine Drop is our focus this Spring, and is an important component of the effort to halt the abuse and diversion of prescription drugs. In addition to the twice-yearly Drug-Take-Back events, Project Medicine Drop provides residents with a way to dispose of unused and expired medications anonymously, seven days a week, 365 days a year, at “prescription drug drop boxes” located within the headquarters of participating police departments. Alliance News
RFH Alliance-Prevention First News Release
( 12-Nov-2013 )

Our effort is directed at all age groups, since the evidence shows us that problems of substance abuse exist across our population. Our primary effort consists of providing education and awareness to all members of our community, but also includes information about resources and options available to help when a problem arises.

The Alliance Resource Room is located in the Charles S. Callman Court House at 80 East River Road, Rumson. Here you will find a variety of valuable information on prevention, treatment, and recovery of a wide spectrum of substance abuse issues. We are here to guide and refer you to the proper resources.
